My Blog

Having over thirty years' professional experience in UK taxation I now provide UK tax advice online covering a wide range of British taxation issues for individuals residing in the UK and overseas. In the mid 1980's I was the tax advisor to former England Soccer team captain, Terry Butcher, and handled the taxation aspects of his transfer from Ipswich Town FC to Glasgow Rangers.
I also provide consultancy services for accountancy firms from time-to-time on technical issues where I have specialist knowledge. This is usually on aspects of Ex-patriate taxation or non-resident taxation issues, including Inheritance Tax planning (formerly Capital Transfer Tax).

As a client you will receive individually tailored advice to meet your own specific requirements, not a pre-determined package.

If your tax affairs are straightforward, you are outside the country, or you visited the UK for holiday work and did not engage someone before leaving, then to contact a British tax advisor you would have to approach an accountancy firm which is time-consuming and expensive. I provide a wide range of reliable British tax advice online to individuals who are both UK resident and non resident for reasonable fees.
As a qualified British tax advisor I pride myself in providing a prompt and reliable internet service so the related e-mail accounts are monitored regularly.

Useful information on tax codes, Inland Revenue offices, tax rates, plus a PAYE income tax calculator and foreign taxation information can be found via my links page.
My personal UK tax clients include self-made millionaires, expat executives, IR35 workers based in the UK, foreign nationals, international teachers and overseas landlords. My UK tax work is carried out through offices at Albany House, 324-326, Regent Street, London W1B 3HH - UK. During the course of an ordinary year I will also visit Hong Kong, Bangkok and Singapore.

Every effort is made to keep this website current and to protect the information held on clients' behalf. My computer system is protected by a firewall, anti-virus and anti-spyware software.
